Company Background

The customer is a fitness club chain with more than 5,000 gyms in more than 35 countries. The client operates between health plans and gyms to process reimbursements for members whose health plans subsidize their gym memberships.

Project Description

The team specializes in developing gym access hardware and software for clients' fitness clubs. Although recently established, the team has been tasked with reworking legacy code to align with the new platform's requirements. They operate within an Agile framework, following the Scrum process to ensure effective project management. The team is composed of a Project Manager, a Dev Manager, a Product Owner, three backend developers, one firmware developer, and one QA specialist. In partnership with Cisco, the team utilizes Meraki cameras to track visitor activity within the clubs.

What You'll Do

  • Create new API endpoints and other backend logic;
  • Select the best possible approach to implementation of high-level architecture;
  • Close work with other team members on development and issues resolution;
  • Participate in Scrum Ceremonies;
  • Provide daily communication with customers via video using Zoom;

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years' experience developing, implementing, and maintaining .NET solutions;
  • 2+ years' experience working with .NET Core;
  • 3+ years' experience working with Azure services (Event driven design, functions, queues, storage, APIs);
  • Experience working with SQL databases;
  • Experience working with Restful APIs;
  • Ability to jump in on a problem during off hours (paid separately);
  • Level of English - from Upper-Intermediate (spoken/written);
